As an Operational Support Specialist, you will be responsible for creating an unmatched online benefits-related experience by leveraging your BerniePortal product expertise and delivering world-class service that fills BerniePortal’s gaps. As a Junior Software Account Manager, you will be responsible for onboarding new broker partners and making sure their first experiences with BerniePortal are successful. We have partnered with employee benefits brokerage firms across the country to distribute BerniePortal to their employer clients. You will have calls and demos with these new partners, as well as with their clients and prospects. You’ll also support them via email and may get to hang out with them in person if they come to our annual users conference, Weekdays with Bernie. It all adds up to building positive, mutually beneficial relationships.
The HRIS implementation specialist serves a critical role at BerniePortal. You will be responsible for leading and managing multiple HRIS implementation projects independently from initiation to the point they are handed off to our ongoing support team. You’ll also interact with other departments throughout the company as necessary to help our clients succeed. Lastly, you will provide world-class customer service by promptly responding to inquiries through various communication channels. This all adds up to making a great first impression that leads to building mutually beneficial long-term relationships with our clients.
As a a QA Dev Analyst, you’re in a unique position. Your role is the only manual-automation hybrid in the company, and you interface between the product/development teams and the support teams. You write automated tests to reduce future manual test cases. You will also research ways to improve our current automation test solutions.

This is a 100% in-office position. The office is in downtown Nashville TN.
As a product manager, you’re in a unique position. You are responsible for interfacing between the product/development teams, sales, support, marketing, finance, and any and all other stakeholders in the product. You write up new functionality for the development team to implement, and you’re the go-to for any behavioral questions that the team has. Finally, you UAT our weekly feature releases both before and after deployment (on Staging and Production, respectively).
In this player-coach role, you’ll be responsible for leading one of our teams of developers creating code to help small employers foster better places to work. You’ll interact with other managers at the company, and report directly to the head of Research & Development. Among other duties, you’ll ensure your team is operating efficiently in handling maintenance issues while being responsible for the team hitting its deadlines on new features. Your key success metrics are: minimising bugs going to production and getting work done on time.
