As an Operational Support Specialist, you will be responsible for creating an unmatched online benefits-related experience by leveraging your BerniePortal product expertise and delivering world-class service that fills BerniePortal’s gaps. The ideal candidate will settle for nothing less than excellence everyday and will be excited about career growth opportunities in an ever-growing industry!
As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for onboarding new broker partners and making sure their first experiences with BerniePortal are successful. We have partnered with employee benefits brokerage firms across the country to distribute BerniePortal to their employer clients. You will have calls and demos with these new partners, as well as with their clients and prospects. You’ll also support them via email and may get to hang out with them in person if they come to our annual users conference, Weekdays with Bernie. It all adds up to building positive, mutually beneficial relationships.
The HRIS implementation specialist serves a critical role at BerniePortal. You will be responsible for leading and managing multiple HRIS implementation projects independently from initiation to the point they are handed off to our ongoing support team. You’ll also interact with other departments throughout the company as necessary to help our clients succeed. Lastly, you will provide world-class customer service by promptly responding to inquiries through various communication channels. This all adds up to making a great first impression that leads to building mutually beneficial long-term relationships with our clients.

As a Corporate Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in attracting, selecting, and hiring top talent that aligns with our company’s objectives and culture. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, building strong partnerships with hiring managers, and developing innovative recruitment solutions to attract and retain top talent.
As a Sales Manager of an Account Executive Team – Software Sales, you will lead your respective team in driving BerniePortal’s growth, working with them to generate and close new business opportunities. You will be responsible for overseeing pipelines and the team’s daily sales rhythms. This role is accountable for the full team’s prospecting, lead qualification, meetings set, meetings completed, and closed won performance metrics. Within your team, you will also have the benefit of sales development resources for business generation efforts. The ideal candidate is passionate about a SaaS sales career, has experience in the Insurtech/HRtech space, possesses excellent leadership skills, and has a strong drive to help your team close the next sale.
As a Marketing Associate on the Marketing Team, you will be responsible for leading all campaigns related to brokers. You will oversee all marketing content to be distributed to BerniePortal’s rapidly growing broker channel, which will include weekly podcasts, email campaigns, webinar series, social posts, conferences, and more. The ideal candidate for this position can write well, understands how to market content to adhere to a target audience, enjoys networking and communicating with people regularly, and can take leadership and ownership of new projects.
In this role, you’ll primarily be responsible for writing good code. You’ll also need to help our other senior developers determine and enforce development best practices; teaching our junior/intermediate developers what good code looks like and how to write it. Your key success metrics are: minimising bugs going to production and getting work done on time.
